Event Details

Our first speaker, Linda Olup, will address “Executive Compensation and Divorce – everything you never wanted to know!”

Linda will provide insight into the manner in which various executive compensation plans are identified in divorce cases and how they are treated as they wind their way through the maze of family law processes.  She will alert you as to how these benefits will be exploited, leveraged, and sometimes misunderstood. She will discuss stock options, restricted stock and restricted stock units, Employee Stock Purchase Plans and SARs.  She will touch upon long-term incentive programs, say-on-pay, performance based equity and other performance awards.  Linda will offer her suggestions as to what you can do to protect yourself from the quagmire that is divorce law.

Our second speaker, Mike Voves will address equity issues related to Death, Disability and other separations.
