Lamont Walker is currently the Lead Stock Plan Administrator at Lyft Inc. He received his BS in Computer Information Systems from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, a MA in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, and is completing his MBA at Washington State University. During Lamont's tenure in the stock plan administration field, he has compiled experiences in both the public and private sector with companies such as Microchip Technology, First Solar, and Counsyl.
Most notably, Lamont was a member of Twitter's stock administration team through the company's initial public offering in 2013. During this time, he managed the technical aspects of the database implementation, established internal equity audit processes, and created cross functional audit procedures. Lamont previously resided in Phoenix and Atlanta before establishing settling down with his family here in the Bay Area.
GEORGINA LAI / HEAD OF EQUITY / PIVOTAL, INC.
Georgina is the Head of Equity for Pivotal, Inc., overseeing all facets of Pivotal's equity programs. Prior to joining Pivotal, Georgina was Head of Equity at Pinterest, Inc. She has worked on a wide range of equity compensation issues, both from a vendor side as the Director of Product Strategy for Nasdaq Private Market, where she developed an equity/cap table platform for private companies; as well as from the issuer side, both at private and public companies. In addition to general administration and operations of international equity programs, she has experience working on acquisitions, SOX and internal compliance, financial reporting (both US and international), and education.
Most notably, Georgina worked on Facebook's transition from a private company to a public one, including implementation of the equity taxation piece of the global mobility program, implementation of a broad base 10b5-1 program, and strategy for the employee lock-up release. She also lead the implementation of the global equity database, the integration of dual brokerages, an internally built global employee equity portal, and the various automated integration feeds from payroll and HR to and from these systems. Prior to joining Facebook, Georgina was part of the global equity team at Salesforce.com and Marvell Semiconductor, Inc.
