Associate Partner & Midwest Practice Leader of Aon Equity Services, Aon
Blake is an associate partner in Aon's Chicago office where he serves as the Midwest Practice Leader of the Equity Services group, which is part of Aon’s Rewards Solutions business. He has nearly 10 years of experience providing assistance to multinational and midsize corporations with the design, implementation and maintenance of domestic and international equity compensation programs, including the execution of tax-qualified plans and corporate chargeback arrangements. Blake also specializes in advising clients on the tax and regulatory requirements, securities, and foreign exchange controls associated with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of a global equity program. He regularly assists clients on the employer withholding and reporting compliance and employee tax liability for employees who are working in various foreign jurisdictions during the life of an equity award.
In his current role, Blake oversees the design and technical matters surrounding equity compensation for a wide variety of companies. Blake specifically assists companies with plan design considerations, valuation and financial reporting requirements under ASC 718, and more. He also frequently works with his clients to create global communication strategies and support, including the preparation of employee communications outlining the country-specific taxation consequences of participating in an equity plan along with communications designed to educate employees about their equity compensation.

Pamela Greene is an Associate Partner on the Equity and Governance team in Aon’s Rewards Solutions practice supporting Aon and all of its affiliates. She provides corporate governance and executive compensation consulting on a wide range of matters, including:

Pam has spent over 25 years as a corporate and securities attorney representing private and public companies and investors in securities and executive compensation matters, financing transactions, and general corporate matters. For the past 10 years, Ms. Greene was a partner at an AmLaw 100 law firm providing corporate, securities, and executive compensation advice. Before joining that firm almost 20 years ago, Pam was an associate in the business practice group of a premier Boston-based law firm.
Pam is a frequent speaker on corporate governance, equity and executive compensation and SEC year- end reporting requirements for public companies. She is an Advisory Board Member of the New England Chapter of the Society for Corporate Governance, a member of National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and the Global Equity Organization.
Pam received a J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law and a BCOMM in Finance and International Business from McGill University. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Jennifer George, Principal, PwC P&O Tax Group
Before joining PwC, she was a partner in the San Francisco office of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and a member of the compensation & benefits group. For more than 17 years, Jennifer has focused her practice on assisting US multinational companies with legal and tax issues related to the offering of global equity incentive plans and other benefits to employees and consultants outside the United States. Before joining Orrick, Jennifer worked as a partner in the global equity services group at Baker & McKenzie, LLP for almost ten years.
Jennifer works mostly with US multinational companies, but her experience ranges from assisting small, private companies to Fortune 500 companies. She works with companies with respect to the tax rules, regulatory issues and administrative issues in setting up and operating global equity and other compensation and benefit programs. She also assists companies with overall compensation and reward package design and benchmarking. She also has extensive experience with the US and foreign tax and legal issues for equity awards in M&A transactions, liquidity events and other corporate transactions, including 280G calculations. Sonia Bhasin, Senior Associate in PwC’s P&O Tax group
Before joining PwC, she was a Senior Associate in KPMG’s Global Reward Services Group. Sonia has broad-based compensation and benefits experience. She has advised clients on tax-related compensation and benefits issues including, but not limited to, the application of Internal Revenue Code Sections 280G, 409A, 162(m), and 119; compliance with fringe benefit, entertainment expense, and meal deduction rules; compensation benchmarking, and Airplane Income Inclusion (SIFL) and Expense Deduction Disallowance Calculations. Sonia also has extensive experience with M&A Pre and Post-Bid Due Diligence as well as performing 280G calculations. She has also been involved in the tax calculation and reporting/withholding requirements resulting from complex cross-border equity-related transactions and has experience successfully resolving notice disputes between taxpayers and the Internal Revenue Service.
