Equity Compensation in 2019 – What’s Around the Corner.

Speaker Information

Arjun Sathya
Senior Consultant, Equity Methods
Arjun Sathya is a senior consultant at Equity Methods, an equity compensation valuation and financial reporting consultancy in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has served clients in a wide array of technical areas such as spin-out transactions, IFRS reporting, local and international equity tax issues, and emerging trends in equity compensation. Arjun is widely regarded throughout the firm for his dexterity in designing and managing complex equity compensation reporting processes, as well as superb project management in high-stakes and high-complexity engagements.

Arjun is a key member of various internal task forces devoted to associate onboarding and training. In this capacity, he provides leadership on recruiting, staffing, training, and project allocations. He holds an MBA in finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, and earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science.

Nick Faris
Senior Consultant, Equity Methods
Nick Faris is a senior consultant in the Equity Methods’ financial reporting group. Nick is the lead consultant to many of the firm’s financial reporting clients, overseeing the day-to-day reporting processes and deliverables. His experience encompasses engagements involving special dividend handling, spin-out transactions, assumed awards in M&A, award modifications, and IFRS reporting.

Additionally, Nick has been instrumental in the creation of Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) reporting process advancements. He serves as an internal subject matter expert on ESPP financial reporting and has led training sessions and published on the topic. Nick holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and a certificate of international business from Arizona State University, and is a SAS Certified Base Programmer.
