NY/NJ: Modification Mania: Delivering Value via Equity During Uncertain Times

Speaker Information

Alec Katric, CECP, is a Manager in the Valuation and HR Advisory Services group at Equity Methods and has been with the firm since 2014. As part of the HR Advisory practice, Alec is primarily involved in advising clients on issues related to short- and long-term incentive plan design, effective communication of compensation programs, proxy visualization, CEO pay ratio, and other novel challenges facing compensation teams. As part of the Valuation Services practice, Alec assists clients with the valuation of their long-term incentive awards, which ranges from Monte Carlo simulations of TSR awards to modification valuations of assumed equity awards in a business combination. Alec regularly contributes to Equity Methods’ research and thought leadership programs, covering award design, data-based approaches to goal-setting, participant communication, and changes in disclosure requirements. Alec graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. He holds the Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP) designation from WorldatWork and is a SAS Certified Base Programmer.

Yudian Tang, Is a Manager with Equity Methods’ financial reporting practice, Yudian helps clients address tough business challenges with equity compensation data and accounting. Yudian’s areas of expertise include modifications, assumed awards, IFRS reporting, and a variety of market and performance awards. Yudian holds a master’s degree in global management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University. She graduated with a BS in finance and a BS in accounting from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
