We are excited to have Sandy Shurin and Patrick Grimes from Deloitte Tax joining us to present via webcast at our Nashville chapter meeting on July 22nd. They will be discussing: key considerations around equity compensation for businesses in the current environment. Make your plans today to join us!
Equity Awards, Market Volatility, Is There Something We Should Be Doing? …I don’t really need to join another webcast (or do I?)
With the world clouded in uncertainty in the face of a pandemic, businesses around the globe are faced with some difficult questions; perhaps of the more sensitive topics on that list is how to continue compensating their workforce. Equity awards can have a number of benefits both to employees and employers, many of which can provide important lifelines to companies in the form of cash preservation, an objective which remains high on the agenda for many organizations (even where equity prices have started to recover from recent lows). With a renewed focus on equity compensation, it’s also more important than ever to ensure that employees fully understand their awards and compensation packages, and the benefits they can realize from them.
Discussion topics will include:
- Generating cash savings through recharge arrangements, qualified plans and more;
- Key tax implications of such cash-saving measures for both employees and companies; and
- Employee experience and communications.
The meeting is free and open to NASPP members and guests. We encourage you to please invite your colleagues to attend the meeting as our guest. This webcast qualifies CEPs for 1.0 hour of CE.
