Boxian Kolb
Senior Manager, Financial Reporting
Equity Methods
Boxian leads several of Equity Methods' largest and most complex financial reporting engagements. She is passionate about her clients, and regarded within and outside the firm as an outstanding project manager who drives traction on lengthy and complicated projects.
Boxian actively contributes to Equity Methods' research and thought leadership initiatives, having played a key role in formulating the firm's perspectives on FASB's Accounting Series Updates 2016-09 and 2014-12. Boxian also allocates her time to cross-functional projects that dually serve accounting and human resources executives, and has developed an internal specialization in data visualization.
Boxian is a CPA in the state of Arizona and holds a master's degree in accountancy from Arizona State University.
Ariane Andrade
Ariane works with public company clients to design, negotiate, implement, and maintain a broad array of executive compensation arrangements, including equity-based, change-in-control, and other incentive compensation plans, as well as executive employment and separation agreements, and nonqualified deferred compensation plans. Ariane also assists companies in drafting executive compensation disclosures, considering both complex regulatory requirements and proxy advisory firm guidelines, in both the initial public offering context and on a periodic basis. In addition, Ariane has significant experience in counseling clients across all life stages in managing the compensation and benefits-related aspects of corporate transactions.
Winny van Veeren, CPA, CEP
SEC & Equity Accounting Consultant
Vanveeren Consulting
Winny is an independent consultant with over 20 years of experience in accounting, specializing in SEC reporting, technical accounting, equity projects as well as temporary controller assignments. Her recent projects have included the adoption of ASC 842 lease accounting, equity or accounting data migration to new software, preparation for annual audits, drafting of technical accounting memos and financial statements, implementation of SOX compliance, and resolving ASC 718 issues.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Winny led the SEC Reporting and Equity Administration team at Symantec Corporation. Winny's other experience include Corporate Controller positions at several public and private companies and Senior Audit Manager at PwC. In her spare time, Winny is an avid sea kayaker and back-country skier.

We are excited to have Boxian Kolb (Equity Methods), Ariane Andrade (Cooley), and Winny van Veeren (Vanveeren Consulting) presenting on “SEC Disclosures: From The Basics to Advanced.”  We will start with the basic requirements of the roll-forward tables in the 10-K and move into the Summary Compensation Table and other common equity tables. Along the way, we'll address how to disclose corporate transactions and modifications and provide practical pointers for disclosure of performance awards.
