The Impact of US Tax Reform Presented by Deloitte
Amy Flynn and Caroline Durbin from Deloitte will discuss the impact of US tax reform on long term incentive plans and provide global technical updates and best practices. The presentation will address the impact of tax reform changes made to 162(m) and the impact on the definition of a “covered employee” and the elimination of the performance-based compensation exemption. The opportunity for 162(m) “transition relief” on existing equity awards will also be discussed. Additionally, Amy and Caroline will provide recent global equity technical updates as well as share some best practices for operating share plans in some of the more difficult jurisdictions globally, namely China, France and Israel.
