New SEC requirements for the disclosure of material human capital measures and objectives – applicable for 10K (and S-1) filings.  The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) recently amended its requirements regarding the disclosure of business, legal proceedings and risk factors. The requirements have an increased focus on Human Capital disclosures and apply to 10K and S-1 filings after November 9, 2020.

PwC will discuss the new requirement, how it relates (or doesn’t) to certain components of voluntary Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) disclosures, and how companies can prepare to comply with this new requirement in the short and long term.
