Summary:
The presentation will touch on the foundations of accounting for share-based payment arrangements in the scope of ASC 718, Compensation – Stock Compensation.  The overall accounting model will be discussed, including consideration of scope, classification, recognition, and measurement along with the latest trends and issues observed in practice.  The impact of the Financial Accounting Standard Board’s (FASB’s) latest accounting standard updates (“ASU”), including ASU 2016-09, 2017-09, and 2018-07, to the share-based payment accounting model will also be highlighted.
