Barbara A. Baksa, CEP
National Association of Stock Plan Professionals

Barbara Baksa serves as Executive Director for NASPP and is a frequent speaker on equity compensation related topics. She is the author of the book “Accounting for Equity Compensation,” published by the NCEO and a required text for the CEP exam, as well as numerous other articles and white papers. Barbara began her career in equity compensation over 20 years ago. She is a CEP, a member of the Advisory Board of the CEP Institute, and an Executive Fellow of the Institute for the Study of Employee Ownership and Profit Sharing at Rutgers University School of Management and Labor Relations.

Questions about taxes are as much an unavoidable certainty as taxes themselves. Join Barbara Baksa, Executive Director of the NASPP, as she answers the most common tax questions she hears from NASPP members. This presentation will cover tax rules that are confusing or frequently misunderstood, ways to streamline tax withholding procedures, and recent tax developments. Barbara will answer the following questions, and more!

  • Can prior day close change your life?
  • What is reported in Box 11 of Form W-2?
  • What is the taxable event for RSUs?
