Once again the Connecticut Chapter of the NASPP would like you to join us for a Virtual Chapter Meeting.  We have another great panel lined up for our July 2021 Chapter Meeting. Will be hosting this meeting using Zoom, so we encourage all attendees to join us on camera for a small networking session followed by the presentation.  We are very excited to have Dee Crosby of Morgan Stanley,  Barbara Klementz of Baker & MacKenzie, Ed Sala of Booking Holdings Inc and one of our very own Chapter Officers, Louisa Boetius of Booking Holdings Inc presenting this month.

Tricky Tax Traps and How to Avoid Them!

When it comes to complying with tax withholding and reporting requirements for equity award income, it is easy to take a wrong turn. This panel of experienced practitioners will provide you multiple perspectives to help guide you through a host of withholding and reporting pitfalls. Our presenters will give you practical tips for how to stay on the right track. The topics will include the latest tax withholding and reporting changes impacting global equity compensation, pros and cons of different withholding methods, how to keep up with changes to reporting obligations and rates, and dealing with special challenges (e.g., remote working – COVID!, working with Israeli trustees, tax withholding and China SAFE).
