Once again the Connecticut NASPP Chapter would like you to join us for a Virtual Chapter Meeting.  For our first chapter meeting of this new year, we have a great panel and very timely topic lined up for this event. Navigating SAB 120 Regarding Spring-Loaded Awards

This session will provide insight and clarity into the new guidance released in SAB 120. We will cover some FAQs and present a practical approach to incorporating this guidance into your existing stock-based compensation and accounting processes.



 

Speaker Information

Conor Buckley, CPA, MBA, CEP
Aon Equity Services
 
Conor Buckley is a Senior Consultant with Aon Equity Services, the group within Aon Rewards Solutions that focuses on the entirety of the equity lifecycle.
 
His background consists of experience in EY’s audit practice, auditing all aspects of financial statements for public and private companies, including technical accounting and disclosure for employee stock options, restricted stock units, performance share awards, restricted stock awards, and acquisitions, serving clients in the biotechnology, telecom, and SaaS sectors, among others.
 
Conor graduated from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accounting, as well as his Master of Business Administration in Finance, with certificates in Public Accounting and International Business. Conor is a licensed CPA in the State of Connecticut, is a Certified Equity Professional (CEP) through Santa Clara University, and serves on the Board of Directors of the NASPP Connecticut Chapter. Conor is based in Stamford, CT.
 
Grant Peterson
Aon
  
Grant Peterson is an Associate Partner in Los Angeles with Aon’s Equity Services team, the technical consulting team focusing on equity compensation for Aon that assists over 600 companies, covering plan design considerations, to valuation and accounting under ASC Topic 718, to corporate governance analytics. 
  
Prior to joining Aon, Grant spent nearly 11 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Workforce Transformation practice where he advised clients on various aspects of equity compensation including: accounting and valuation under ASC Topic 718, equity due diligence, corporate deferred tax accounting, business combination accounting, plan design, and administration.
  
He graduated from University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics and from University of Arizona with a Master’s degree in Mathematics.
