Elena Thomas, MBA, CEP
Plan Management Corp
 
Elena Thomas heads operations for Plan Management Corp.| OptionTrax. In this capacity, she works closely with both private and public company clients to ensure delivery of best practice plan administration software and services. Areas of expertise include performance award administration and financial reporting. She also currently serves as a Board Member of the Philadelphia chapter of NASPP, and is a Certified Equity Professional.
 
Elena was previously with McKinsey & Company in the Philadelphia, Paris, and Mexico City offices. Elena was a Project Manager and strategy practice member, focusing on financial technology and access to capital for micro, small and medium enterprises worldwide. In addition to the U.S., she has worked extensively across Latin America and Europe.

Prior to pursuing her M.B.A at the University of North Carolina, Elena worked with CGI-AMS, Inc. as a Project Manager and client relationship lead for software design and development projects.

The Gender Gap and Equity Compensation
Despite increased attention and the growth of women-focused corporate initiatives, the latest studies show that gender equity issues persist, and according to some metrics is widening.This session will discuss the latest trends and findings on the gender gap from the latest McKinsey & Company Women in the Workplace study, share initial results of the Plan Management Corp Equity Compensation and Gender Equity study, and look at how equity compensation can be leveraged as a powerful tool to address gender equity.
