Laura Verri

Laura specializes in equity plan design, administration and accounting. As a financial reporting manager for Solium Capital, she moved to the United Kingdom to better support the requirement needs of the European market and clients for equity financial reporting and IFRS 2. Previously Laura worked at various companies in Silicon Valley.
She shares her breadth of expertise with clients and is a volunteer member of the CEPI Certification Council in Santa Clara for the past 11 years.

Kelly Geerts
Senior Director, Advanced Solutions
E*TRADE Financial Corporate Services, Inc.

Kelly leads the Advanced Solutions professional services team at E*TRADE Financial Corporate Services, Inc. (ETCS), where she focuses on enabling clients to reduce internal risks and scale their business by building efficiencies. Prior to joining ETCS, Kelly spent more than two decades deploying end-to-end equity and payroll best practices at Apple Inc., both strategically and operationally. While at Apple, she managed the global process and strategy for Apple's equity programs, in addition to many aspects of payroll, tax, accounting and equity administration. Kelly is active in the Global Equity Organization (GEO) and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP), and she is a frequent presenter at NASPP and GEO Annual Conferences, in addition to E*TRADE’s Directions Conference. She is a current board member of GEO, and also served on the board member of GEO as an issuer (2008-2010) as well as ETCS’ Client Advisory Board (2008-2014). Kelly received a BBA in Business Management from the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Equity Professional (CEP).

We will focus on specific valuation and expense issues related to performance and market awards, with guidance for retrospective vs. prospective changes.
