How the NASPP is Addressing the COVID-19 Situation

NASPP COVID-19 Update


To our valued members, partners, and greater equity compensation community:

The NASPP understands that concerns for health and safety, among other issues, are affecting us all. Rest assured, we take the well-being of our members, attendees, and partners very seriously. We are closely monitoring COVID-19 developments and what they mean for the NASPP’s in-person events, including our annual conference and local chapter meetings.

As a result, please know that we are taking the following approach and precautions:
 

  • Local NASPP Chapter Meetings: All chapter meetings scheduled for March and April will be held via webcast or o postponed. So that we may continue to facilitate local education for our members, we are providing technical support wherever needed to enable online meetings for chapters. This practice will continue for as long as recommended by authorities that impact each chapter.
 
  • Annual Conference and Exhibition: Absent federal travel restrictions and/or local, state, or regional decisions to close venues, the NASPP has not canceled its annual conference scheduled for this September in Washington, DC. We are working closely with the host hotel and local agencies to ensure a safe event. As we continue to assess this rapidly evolving situation, any future developments or change in status will be communicated directly to members and attendees.
 
  • In compliance with federal guidelines and local directives, the NASPP team is equipped to work remotely and support you via telephone and email. We remain available and accessible, and will continue to work towards meeting your needs.

We realize that we are going through an uncertain time that changes by the day, and the NASPP is doing everything it can to help safeguard our membership and adapt our practices as necessary so that we may continue to meet our mission of providing professional education, guidance, and community building.
