How competitive are your stock plans? Find out in this webcast, as the NASPP and Deloitte preview the results of our 2007 Domestic Stock Plan Design and Administration survey. This is the industry's most comprehensive survey on stock plan design and practices, covering the use of stock options, restricted stock, ESPPs, and performance-based awards. The webcast will present the survey results and compare them to our 2004 survey to illustrate growing trends.

Featured Panelists:

  • Gregory Kopp, Senior Manager, Deloitte Consulting
  • Danyle Anderson, Programs Director, NASPP
  • Barbara Baksa, Executive Director, NASPP

Among other topics, this program will cover:

  • Stock options—are they dead or alive? Continued usage of stock options (or lack thereof); trends in option design such as net exercise, termination and retirement provisions, and transferability; and valuation for 123(R) purposes.
  • The growing trend towards full value awards, including usage of restricted stock vs. units; policies and procedures for tax withholding on awards; payment of dividends; retirement provisions; and deferral programs.
  • Increasing usage of performance-based plans, including the most popular performance measures and other key design considerations.
  • Worldwide participation rates in ESPPs and where these plans have ended up in the post-123(R) era.
  • Practices in insider trading compliance and stock ownership requirements.
  • Trends in stock compensation paid to outside directors.
  • The latest strategies in administration of stock plans, including in-house administration vs. outsourcing and staffing.
