Introducing the NASPP's New Portal on Global Stock Plans

The NASPP is excited to announce our new Global Stock Plans Portal. This new area of the NASPP website will provide the resources our members need to administer their global stock plans and is available to all NASPP members at no extra cost.

Extensive Country Guides

The new portal features guides to the laws and other considerations applicable to stock compensation in 25 different countries (look for guides to more countries later this year). Each guide includes a practitioner's note highlighting key considerations for that country, a table summarizing the main regulatory considerations in an easy-to-read format, and an in-depth article on offering stock compensation in that country. These substantive articles—often more than 30 pages in length—provide the answers you need to implement stock plans for non-US employees. View a sample country guide.

Breaking News

Six leading practitioner firms in global stock compensation will be providing the NASPP with ongoing alerts on breaking developments in over 50 countries. Searchable by country and by date, these alerts ensure that NASPP members have the latest news on local laws and trends.

The Experts Answer Your Questions

The new portal features a dedicated Q&A forum where you can post your questions on global stock plans and get answers from the experts. We have formed a task force of leading practitioners that will monitor and respond to postings in the discussion forum.

And Much More

And if all of the above isn't enough, the portal features even more resources:

  • DLA Piper's extensive Global Desk References on stock options, restricted stock and units, employee stock purchase plans, and data privacy laws.
  • Baker & McKenzie's matrix of tax and legal issues by country that NASPP members have relied on for years.
  • GlobalSharePlans' new matrix of plan design considerations by country.
  • Surveys on international trends and practices in stock compensation.
  • Webcasts on topics related to multi-national stock plans.
  • Additional articles and other resources on multi-national stock plans.

No Additional Cost

With the support of our sponsors—Baker & McKenzie, Deloitte, DLA Piper, Ernst & Young, GlobalSharePlans, Jones Day, Linklaters, PriceWaterhouse Coopers, and White & Case—we are pleased to be able to offer this critical new resource to NASPP members at no extra cost.
