Domestic Stock Plan Design Survey
The NASPP is pleased to announce the launch of the 2013 Domestic Stock Plan Design Survey, co-sponsored by Deloitte Consulting LLP. This joint survey is the industry's longest-running and most comprehensive examination of stock plan design in the United States and will allow for year-over-year comparisons of trends in the usage of stock option, award, and performance plans.

Participation Required for Full Survey Results
The full survey results will only be available to those companies that complete the survey.
Service providers that are not eligible to complete the survey can access the full survey results at no cost, provided they are members of the NASPP. This access is available to service providers only; issuer companies must complete the survey to access the full survey results.

About the Survey
The NASPP's Domestic Stock Plan Design Survey covers the design of stock option and both service-based and performance-based award programs for US employees, including eligibility and participation, share usage, overhang and burn rates, and grant terms and conditions.
The survey is part of the NASPP's trio of Stock Plan Design and Administration Surveys; this series of surveys constitutes the industry's most in-depth and respected source of data on trends in the design and administration of stock compensation programs. The other surveys in this series include the Domestic Stock Plan Administration Survey, which covers administration of US stock plans along with design and administration of ESPPs and outside director plans, and the Global Equity Incentives Survey, which covers design and administration of stock compensation offered to non-US employees.
The Domestic Stock Plan Design Survey was last published in 2010. In that year, the survey received close to 600 responses; we expect to have an even higher response rate this year.
