The NASPP is pleased to announce the launch of the 2010 Domestic Stock Plan Design Survey, co-sponsored by Deloitte (with survey systems support provided by the Certified Equity Professional Institute). About the Survey The NASPP's Stock Plan Design and Administration Survey is the industry's most comprehensive surveys on all aspects of stock plan design and administration, consisting of two primary surveys: the Domestic Survey which covers stock compensation offered to U.S. employees and the International Survey, which covers stock compensation offered to non-U.S. employees. The 2007 Domestic Survey, which was over 125 pages in length and had over 400 participants, covered eligibility and participation; share usage, overhang, and burn rates; grant terms and conditions; administrative practices; insider trading compliance; ownership guidelines; director plans; and employee education. In 2010 the Survey has undergone some sweeping changes. To make the Domestic Survey easier for our participants to complete, we have divided it into two parts—the first of which is currently open for participation and addresses design of stock option, award, and performance plans. We expect the results of this survey to be available in fall 2010. The second half of the survey, scheduled for 2011, will address stock plan administration, employee stock purchase plans and various other related topics. When combined with our International Survey, the trio of surveys will bring the best possible stock plan information to our industry and will, as always, be an important resource for NASPP members. The Fine Print * Raffle is limited to one person per company (where multiple people from the same company complete the survey, the first respondent will be entered in the raffle). In addition, respondents must work for companies that are eligible to participate in the survey (i.e., companies that offer stock compensation to U.S. employees), must have sufficient knowledge of their company's stock plans to complete the survey, and must complete all sections of the survey that are relevant to their company by April 23, 2010. Respondents will be automatically entered into the raffle once they complete the survey.
