NASPP Proposal Submission Website
21st Annual NASPP Conference
September 23-26, 2013
in Washington, DC
The deadline for submission of proposals for the
21st Annual NASPP Conference is Friday, March 01, 2013.
All proposals must be received by 11:59 pm PT on this date.
The NASPP Annual Conference is the premier event for stock plan professionals, providing
unparalleled opportunities for education and networking. The rapidly shifting
regulatory landscape we continue to experience will make the
21st Annual NASPP Conference
one of the most important to date. Close to 2,000 professionals attended our 2012
Annual Conference; we expect even more in
2013.
The
21st Annual NASPP Conference will be held September 23-26, in Washington, DC. We encourage
anyone interested in speaking to submit a proposal. Submitting
a proposal does not commit you to speak at the Conference; you will have an opportunity
to confirm your participation if your proposal is accepted. Both NASPP members
and non-members may submit proposals to speak. We will accept a maximum of
three proposals from any one company or firm.
Please refer to our
Top Ten Tips For Creating A Successful Proposal for helpful information
on how to increase the chance of your proposal being accepted. We prefer panel
presentations that focus on practical guidance and presentations that include company
case studies are strongly encouraged. Case study submissions should include
one representative from the studied company. We may combine similar proposals
into a single panel.
SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL
All proposals must be submitted via this website by Friday, March 01, 2013.
We begin evaluating proposals as soon as the submission period closes,
so we cannot make any exceptions to this deadline, no matter how dire the circumstances.
We encourage you to plan accordingly. You will need to provide the following
information in your proposal submission:
- Presentation title, description, audience benefit, talking points, instruction level
and discipline
- Speaker information for each participant, including contact information, biography,
and past speaking experience
- Primary contact for the proposal (speaker or other designated contact)
- New for 2013 — No more than two people from the same company or firm should be listed as a speaker on each proposal that is submitted.
