About the Survey

The NASPP's Domestic Stock Plan Administration Survey covers administration and communication practices for stock plans, design and administration of ESPPs, insider trading compliance, stock ownership guidelines, and non-employee director plans.

The survey is part of the NASPP's trio of Stock Plan Design and Administration Surveys; this series of surveys constitutes the industry's most in-depth and respected source of data on trends in the design and administration of stock compensation programs. The other surveys in this series include the Domestic Stock Plan Design Survey, which covers the design of stock option and award programs, and the Global Equity Incentives Survey, which covers design and administration of stock compensation offered to non-US employees.

The Domestic Stock Plan Administration Survey was last published in 2014. In that year, the survey received close to 500 responses; we expect to have an even higher response rate this year.
