Continuing Education
CLE
Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits in various states will be available to attendees of the 18th Annual NASPP Conference, 7th Annual Executive Compensation Conference, and 5th Annual Proxy Disclosure Conference. CLE credit is not available for the Practical Guide to Performance-Based Awards course.
Attendees are not required to register in advance for CLE credit, but will need to follow special sign-in/out procedures at the live events and during the live videocasts. Additional information on these procedures will be provided in the Conference Guidebook.
CEP
Certified Equity Professionals (CEPs) can earn continuing education credits for the 18th Annual NASPP Conference and all related pre-Conference programs. Advance registration is not required to earn this credit, nor are attendees required to sign in and out of sessions at the live event or videocasts. Attendees must keep their own records of their attendance, including the specific sessions they attended, so they can report this information to the CEP Institute when required.
CPE
Attendees of the 18th Annual NASPP Conference and the Practical Guide to Performance-Based Awards course can earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE credit) for these programs. Attendees must register for this credit in advance and will be subject to a $100 administrative fee, to cover costs the NASPP incurs for monitoring attendance at Conference sessions and other recordkeeping procedures that NASBA requires us to follow. In addition, attendees will need to follow special sign-in/out procedures for the sessions they attend at the Conference. CPE credit is not available for the 5th Annual Proxy Disclosure Conference or for the videocast of the 7th Annual Executive Compensation Conference.
The program level for sessions at the 18th Annual NASPP Conference is indicated each session description with the designation of I for basic, II for intermediate, and III for advanced. Sessions designated as basic (I) have no prerequisites and are designed for individuals new to the topic or those with limited experience. Intermediate sessions (II) build upon topics discussed in the basic program and are suited for individuals with 3-5 years experience in the field or commensurate education. Advanced sessions (III) are most useful for individuals with more than 5 years experience or commensurate education in the designated topic. These sessions focus on the development of in-depth or specialized knowledge.
The fields of study included in the 18th Annual NASPP Conference are Administrative Practice, Accounting, Auditing, Business Law, Communications, Management Advisory Services, Personnel/HR, and Taxes.
The program level for the Practical Guide to Performance-Based Awards is basic to intermediate and the field of study is Administrative Practice.
The instructional method for the 18th Annual NASPP Conference and the Practical Guide to Performance-Based Awards course is group-live and there is no required advance preparation for either program.
The NASPP is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
